No KYC at checkout: an email address is all we ask for. Below are 30 of the most common questions, grouped into 6 categories.

Getting started

New to Genghis? These six questions cover what we sell, who we are, and how to make your first purchase.

What is Genghis?

Genghis is a UK-registered marketplace for gift cards, prepaid cards, game keys, top-ups and eSIMs, paid with 300+ cryptocurrencies. Genghis Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, number 16315448, at 20 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU. No KYC at checkout: an email address is all we ask for. Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms on the network. We also email you a link to it. Our mission is to make everyday crypto spending easy: turn your BTC, ETH, USDT or any supported coin into the things you actually want to buy.

Is Genghis legit and safe to use?

Yes. Genghis Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, number 16315448, at 20 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU. It is accelerated by Algorand and Techstars and reviewed by customers on Trustpilot. Crypto payments are processed by NOWPayments, a third-party payment processor, and we never custody customer funds. All gift card codes come from authorised distributors.

How do I know I am on the real Genghis site?

The Genghis shop is www.genghis.pro and its Help Center is help.genghis.pro; checkout and payment addresses only ever appear on www.genghis.pro. Genghis never asks for your wallet seed phrase or private keys, and never asks for your password by email or message. If a site, message or email asks you to pay Genghis anywhere else, do not pay, and forward it to [email protected].

Do I need to create an account to buy?

No. Guest checkout works on every product, and an email address is all we ask for. Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms on the network. We also email you a link to it. Creating an account is optional and unlocks order history and Genghis Points, starting with 100 Points when you sign up. A guest order stays a guest order: signing up later with the same email address does not move it into the account, so keep the email with the link to your code.

What can I buy on Genghis?

Genghis sells 4,500+ gift cards, prepaid cards, game keys, top-ups and eSIMs for 80+ countries. That covers retail gift cards such as Amazon and Apple, Steam and other game keys, eSIMs for travel, prepaid Visa and Mastercard cards, mobile top-ups, and streaming and subscription credits.

Which countries does Genghis serve?

The catalog covers 80+ countries. Every product is digital, so nothing ships: your code appears on screen once the payment confirms on the network. Gift card redemption is region-locked: an Amazon US card redeems on amazon.com, an Amazon DE card on amazon.de. Each product page lists the country or region where the code works.

How do I redeem my gift card or game key?

Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms on the network. We also email you a link to it. Copy the code and paste it into the brand's redemption page: amazon.com/gc/redeem for Amazon, store.steampowered.com/account/redeemwalletcode for Steam, account.microsoft.com/redeem for Xbox, or redeem.google.com for Google Play. The product page also shows the redemption steps for the brand you bought.

Payments and crypto

How to pay, which coins we accept, and what to do if something goes wrong with a transaction.

Which cryptocurrencies can I use to pay?

Genghis accepts 300+ cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USDT, USDC, BNB, Solana, XRP, Cardano, Dogecoin, Polygon, Tron, Monero (XMR), Zcash, Algorand and Dash.

How do I pay with Bitcoin?

At checkout, select Bitcoin as your payment method. You get a unique BTC deposit address and the exact amount to send. The quote holds for about 20 minutes; the rate is not locked. Send the exact amount from your wallet: hardware wallets, software wallets and exchange withdrawals all work. Once the transaction confirms on the network, your code appears on screen.

Can I pay with stablecoins like USDT or USDC?

Yes. USDT is accepted on 10 networks and USDC on 9, all listed at checkout. Always select the network that matches your sending wallet: coins sent on a different network can be lost, and that loss cannot be recovered. A network cost of $3.53 applies to USDT on Tron only.

Which networks are supported for multi-chain tokens?

USDT: Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Solana, Tron, Polygon, Arbitrum One, Optimism, Avalanche C-Chain, TON and Celo. USDC: Ethereum, Solana, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche and Algorand. ETH: Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Linea, zkSync Era and BNB Smart Chain. You pick the network at checkout, and the payment screen shows it next to the deposit address. Always double-check the network before sending: cross-chain transfers cannot be reversed.

Can I pay from an exchange wallet (Coinbase, Binance, Kraken)?

Yes. Withdraw the exact amount to the deposit address shown at checkout, on the network you picked, and check first that your exchange offers that network. If the exchange takes a withdrawal fee, add it so the full amount arrives. Exchanges process withdrawals on their own schedule, so the payment can reach the network later than from a wallet you control.

What happens if I send the wrong amount or wrong network?

An order paid short does not complete on its own. Write to [email protected] with your order number and the transaction hash, and a person on our team checks the payment. Coins sent on the wrong network can be lost: that is a blockchain limitation, not a Genghis policy. If your transaction confirmed on the network but the order did not complete, write to [email protected] with the transaction hash.

What does the price in crypto include?

The amount in your coin is shown before you pay. It includes our exchange-rate margin; a network cost applies only to USDT on Tron and to Monero. If your wallet or exchange takes a fee to send, add it so the full amount arrives.

How long does the crypto payment take to confirm?

It depends on the coin and the network: each network needs its own confirmations, and congestion can slow any of them. Networks such as Solana and Tron confirm sooner than Bitcoin. The quote holds for about 20 minutes; the rate is not locked.

Delivery and redemption

How and when you receive your codes, and what to do if something goes wrong with redemption.

How quickly is my code delivered?

Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms on the network. We also email you a link to it. How long the payment takes to confirm depends on the coin and the network. If your code has not appeared, look for our email with the link (the spam folder too), check the email address you used at checkout, and write to [email protected].

Where do I receive my code?

Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms on the network. We also email you a link to it. That is the same for a guest checkout and a registered account. We never deliver codes by SMS or to your wallet. With an account, your codes also stay in your order history. Make sure your email address is correct before paying: a typo in the email field is the most common cause of a missing link.

What if my code does not work or has already been redeemed?

Write to [email protected] within 30 days with your order number and a screenshot of the error from the brand's redemption page. A code that fails at first redemption, arrives incomplete or never arrives is replaced, or refunded if no replacement comes within 5 business days; report it within 30 days. A wrong region on our page is refunded. Refunds are paid in USDT on BNB Smart Chain or Solana, in USDC on Solana, or as Genghis Points, 1 to 3 business days after approval.

Can I send a gift card as a gift to someone else?

Yes. There is no separate recipient field at checkout: the code appears on your screen and the link goes to your email, so you pass the code on yourself. The recipient never sees your payment details or transaction hash.

Are there expiration dates on gift cards or game keys?

Expiration is set by the brand, not by Genghis. Most major brands (Amazon, Steam, Apple, Google Play, Netflix) issue cards with no expiration; some regional and promotional cards have 12 to 24 month limits. Check the product page and the brand's own terms before you buy.

Refunds and disputes

What happens when a payment fails, a code is faulty, or you need to dispute an order.

What is your refund policy?

A code that fails at first redemption, arrives incomplete or never arrives is replaced, or refunded if no replacement comes within 5 business days; report it within 30 days. A wrong region on our page is refunded. Refunds are paid in USDT on BNB Smart Chain or Solana, in USDC on Solana, or as Genghis Points, 1 to 3 business days after approval. A product that works as described is not refunded for a change of mind, and neither is a prepaid card whose issuer asks for ID at activation. Payment errors, such as an order paid short or a payment that confirmed but did not complete the order, are handled case by case. Write to [email protected] with your order number to start a refund.

My payment is stuck or blocked: what happens?

If your transaction confirmed on the network but the order did not complete, a person on our team checks the payment. Write to [email protected] with your order number and transaction hash; we trace it and either deliver the code or refund. If your transaction is still unconfirmed, wait until it confirms or use replace-by-fee or cancel in your wallet: there is nothing we can do until the network settles it.

How do I dispute a transaction or order?

Write to [email protected] with your order number, transaction hash, a clear description of the issue (faulty code, no delivery, wrong product) and a screenshot if you have one. We reply within 24 hours on business days. Genghis Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, number 16315448, at 20 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU. If the answer does not settle it, you can contact UK consumer authorities.

Privacy and KYC

Why we don't require identity verification, what data we collect, and how to request deletion.

Does Genghis require KYC?

No. No KYC at checkout: an email address is all we ask for. You do not upload an ID, take a selfie or verify a phone number. Purchase limits apply, listed on the AML and purchase limits page, and some prepaid card issuers may ask for ID when you activate the card.

Why does Genghis not require identity verification?

Crypto payments do not carry the same chargeback and fraud risk as card transactions, which is the main reason traditional retailers ask for identity checks. On-chain settlement is final, so we have no reason to collect personal data we do not strictly need. We also see privacy as a feature: less data collected means less data that could ever leak, for customers and for Genghis.

What personal data does Genghis collect?

The minimum: your email address (to send you the link to your code), your IP address (logged briefly for fraud detection, required by NOWPayments), and the items you purchased. We never store your wallet address. We never sell or share your data with advertisers. We do not track redemption activity once the code leaves our system.

How do I request deletion of my data (GDPR)?

Write to [email protected] from the email address you used at checkout, asking for deletion under GDPR Article 17 (the right to erasure). We delete personal data within 30 days, except what we must keep by law: order-related data is retained for up to 10 years to comply with UK legal and tax obligations, and stored encrypted. UK and EU users have the same GDPR rights wherever they access Genghis from.

Account and support

How to get help, create an account, and use the loyalty programme.

How do I contact customer support?

Write to [email protected] for order issues, refunds, data requests and general support. We reply within 24 hours on business days. For partnership and press inquiries, see our contact page. We do not offer phone or live chat support: email keeps a written record for both sides.

Is there a loyalty programme?

Yes, Genghis Points: 1 Point is worth $0.01 at checkout, and every new account starts with 100 Points. You earn more by buying while signed in, completing missions and inviting friends; guest checkouts do not earn Points. You can spend Points once your account has $25 in completed orders, and Points never expire.

How do I create an account?

Click 'Sign in' in the top right of any page and select 'Create account.' You need a valid email address and a password. With an account, you can view order history, earn and spend Genghis Points and check out faster on repeat purchases. We do not ask for your name, date of birth, wallet address or any other identifying detail. Account creation is optional: guest checkout works on every product on the site.
